Guest Services Assistant

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Guest Services Assistant to join the Birdworld Team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 20 hours per week and may include some weekend days.
Current rate of pay for this role is up to £11.44 per hour.

About the Role
The role reports to the Guest Services Team Lead.
The Guest Services Team at Birdworld look after a variety of visitor facing aspects including Admissions, Retail, and Catering, all in a busy working environment.
Colleagues working in the shop and admissions area are very often the first or last impression of our business and are therefore hugely important to our reputation. Working in these areas includes till work, tidying and stocking of shelves and assisting with queries or questions from the visitors as necessary.

Duties include:

  • Welcoming guests to the park and assisting with guest enquiries.
  • Processing of admission tickets, memberships, and experiences.
  • Assisting with the replenishment of the retail areas.
  • To provide support and assistance within the catering department.

Previous experience in a Customer Service environment beneficial, though all necessary training will be provided.
